Hi, I'm new to this forum. I would like to introduce myself, I'm ryan. I've been playing AoE for a while but I have a question. Is there a way to play AoE online without the disc? The only reason I ask is because my disc is all screwed up and I don't want to go out and buy another one. I know I can use NoCD patches, but that doesn't work online.
The game runs so much more faster without the cd while playing online. I have also made an image of AoE and mounted it on a virtual drive, but AoE still asks for the disc. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ryan Author Replies.
