Warcraft Frozen Throne No Cd Patch
Reinstalling the game and patching Reign of Chaos first didn't help. Installing Visual C++ redistributables didn't fix it. 100% sure i installed the correct version (for my xp system) - 2013 x86 (32). All it does is replacing the missing MSVCR120.dll file error with a 0xc000001d error (application failed to start in a correct way). Also've made a registry error cleanup, didn't help as well. I wonder if the issue is the same as in this topic. If that's the case than it's game over for everyone with old athlon CPU's since the new patch files are not compatible with them and nothing will help.

So i guess after 8 years my adventure with Warcraft 3 is coming to an end. Anyway hoping anyone will come up with a solution for this. Running Windows 8. Bs 5351 Standard here. 1 through Boot Camp on an early 2015 Macbook Pro, I get the msvcr120.dll missing error after patching RoC without TFT installed, or after patching TFT.
When I copy the DLL into the Warcraft III folder, I get, 'The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b).' Since I seem to be in the same situation as WhiteT, it definitely isn't a problem of incompatibly old hardware as he speculates. I get the same error if I install in the default location, or a location in my user folder, and running as administrator does not make a difference. Edit: The msvcr120.dll I was using came from System32. However, when I copied the one from my installation of Mozilla Firefox, the error changed to missing msvcp120.dll (note the 'p') as well as a 'Couldn't open game.dll' error, and when I copied msvcp120.dll (also from Firefox) into the Warcraft III folder, it ran successfully. Solidworks 2014 32 Bit.
Using Windows XP Service Pack 3 old Duron CPU Radeon 9250. So i reinstalled the game again, and again tried every possible combination: putting The msvcr120.dll in w3 folder, in sys32, in both, putting msvcp120.dll in w3 folder, putting all Visual C++ redistributables into w3 folder, installing-reinstalling Visual C++ redistributables, Also tried what Sartaglo did - copying msvcp120.dll and msvcr120.dll from mozilla, pasting it in sys32 or w3 etc etc. Also tried reinstalling into default folder, didn't help as well.

No matter what i'll do i'm always getting the 'application wasn't initiated correctly' 0xc000001d error. Anyway i've spend 15+ hours on this while the issue is probably impossible to fix (old hardware or something) so i'm giving up. Please Blizzard can you be so kind and find out what's the reason for this situation and if there's anything that can be done to fix it.
